Annual Waikato Telehealth After 5 Networking Event - Presentations

25-Jun-2018

ANNUAL WAIKATO TELEHEALTH AFTER 5 NETWORKING EVENT
When:  Wednesday, 20th June 2018 from 4.30pm (for 5pm start) to 7.00pm, WINTEC Atrium, Tristram Street, Hamilton.

On behalf of the Waikato DHB, NZHIT, Denise Irvine and myself I’d like to thank you for attending the ‘Waikato Telehealth After 5 Networking Event’ on Wednesday the 20th of June.  It was a fantastic event and we really appreciated having you join us especially as it was a fairly chilly evening to be out and about!

The speakers were excellent and provided us with a good range of topics covering the area of tele and virtual health.  Technology’s ability to enable the provision of healthcare “remotely” is clearly an essential component of all healthcare provider’s service structure and there is no doubt that New Zealand has to push ahead further and faster than has been the case up till now.  The next 12 months will be very interesting in this regard and it will be good to provide an update on progress at the same event next year.

The speaker presentations are attached below (from those speakers who have given permission to distribute their slides) and please don’t hesitate to provide feedback on the event, how we may be able to improve the programme, suggested speakers and topics, etc.
