In New Zealand we have the highest rates of accessibility to Primary Care in the world (Commonwealth Fund 2004). We have a Nationwide Primary Health HL7 results network, which transmits 98% of all radiology and laboratory results. Ninety-five percent of all primary care clinicians use EPR /PMS systems and we also have a dedicated Health Intranet.
