A proposed new national network of commercialisation centres was announced by the Prime Minister as part of the 2010 Budget investment in business research and development.

The commercialisation of IP is an area of considerable interest to Cluster members and we will be working closely with NZICT and other stakeholders over the coming months in developing options in this important area.

The consultation around the commercialisation centres is important.  Please contact me if you or your organisation would like to be involved with the development of a Cluster submission. Please note that consultation closes on 21 July.

QUOTE OF THE DAY

It never ceases to amaze me just how may world leading innovations come out a a country as small as New Zealand. We often don’t realize that our innovations stack up just as well if not better than other countries on the world stage.
