TUANZ Innovation Awards
Innovative New Zealand organisations are invited to enter the 2009 TUANZ Innovation Awards, held in association with Voco.
Entries to the prestigious annual awards, hosted in partnership with IDC New Zealand, close on Thursday, 16 July 2009
The awards recognise outstanding innovation in the telecommunications sector in New Zealand and TUANZ is pleased to welcome Voco on board as this year's premier sponsor.
Award finalists will be announced on Monday, 3 August, with the awards presented at a black-tie ceremony at the SkyCity Convention Centre on Thursday, 3 September 2009.
The 2009 TUANZ Innovation Awards feature 13 award categories, as well as the overall TUANZ Telecommunications Innovation Award, presented by Vector Communications. This award recognises the most innovative product, service or initiative overall, developed in New Zealand, and delivered electronically to New Zealanders.
The winners of three awards will be decided by public vote - Carrier of the Year, ISP of the Year and Technology Media of the Year. End users can vote for these awards online at the TUANZ website.
All other categories can also be entered online.
Invitation to Pre-RFP Briefing for the CHIC project - Singapore 16 July 2009 This is to inform you that MOHH is conducting a pre-RFP vendor briefing for the Community Hospital Integrated Care (CHIC) project. They would like to invite your organisation to participate in this briefing. CHIC aims to provide the community hospitals with a common platform for a hospital information system (HIS) comprising of an EMR.

National Maori Cancer Forum, 12 - 14 August 2009, Rotorua
This forum will be held from 12 - 14 August 2009 in Rotorua. The forum will provide the platform for the exposition of indigenous research, medicine, services and experiences from around the world.

HINZ Conference and Exhibition PLAN TO BE THERE
Due to the extra demand for exhibition space and the record number of paper submissions for this years event - the conference committee have taken the decision to move HINZ 09 to the Rotorua Energy Events Centre (a short four minute walk from the original Convention Centre). This new location venue can accommodate for extra exhibition space plus 4 concurrent break out sessions for accepted submitted papers.

Queensland Health ICT Industry Briefing: Queensland Health, in conjunction with CHIK Services and Health-e-Nation, is pleased to provide the Australian health ICT industry with a briefing on ICT aspects of its major programs for the next 3 years. Upcoming Diabetes Registry and Portal Services Request for Qualifications - Canada
eHealth Ontario and Infrastructure Ontario intend to release a Request for Qualifications (RFQ)in order to pre-qualify applicants to deliver a Diabetes Registry chronic disease management application and Portal services. It is anticipated the RFQ will be released in July with a response date in mid-August.
It is anticipated a subsequent Request for Proposals will follow in fall 2009.
Details will be provided in the RFQ document, which will available only through MERX at www.merx.com.
