Business Development Forums

The well attended September 2008 Cluster Business Development Forum series "Software as a Service", has now completed.

We would like to thank all the presenters who made the forums such interesting events, and the members who hosted the events, OneNet, Vantex and Oracle. Without your collective generosity the forums would not have been such a success.

If you have any ideas that would make good topics for future business development forums, please send them in to John at j.tailby@healthit.org.nz

Forum presentations are available on the Cluster website from our library here. Please scroll down to the bottom of the page to locate the presentations.

HINZ 2008

The annual HINZ 2008 Conference is scheduled for 15-17 October in Rotorua. We will be running our very popular Elevator Pitch Session on Wednesday 15th of October. On Friday 17th, Andrea will be presenting on the Cluster collaborative projects E-Labs and the Consumer Health Portal

HINZ 2008 Elevator Pitch Session

This Year, the Elevator Pitch session will be part of the Welcome Function at The Skyline Redwoods Marquee. Elevator Pitches will be One Minute long.

Pitches will be judged on:

  • The Hook: Does it attract your attention?
  • The Market: Are the target customer groups identified?
  • The Problem Solved: Does it describe the problem solved?
  • The Results: Does it mention the results achieved?
  • The Duration: Not to exceed the 1 minute duration

The Elevator pitches are supposed to be fun, informative and memorable. The drinks and light supper are kindly sponsored by Gen-i.
