ORGANISATION PROFILE
CDC is the economic development arm of Christchurch City Council and its objective is to create a better way of life through a strong economy. The key functions of CDC are Strategy and Planning, Business and Sector Development, and Innovation. We specifically focus on supporting sectors which are the core drivers of our local economy - international education, agri-business, IT and high value manufacturing. Health IT is encompassed by the latter two sectors.
