Overview

An original member of the D7, the world’s most advanced digital nations, New Zealand is embracing the possibilities of digital platforms and the terabytes of data this generates. Having recently adopted the International Open Data Charter and established the Open Government Partnership, the public sector is beginning to realise the value of adopting big data and analytics to drive improvements in service delivery, organisational efficiencies and informed decision making.

Akolade presents the NZ Government Data Summit, bringing together 20+ sector leaders to explore how public sector agencies can establish strategic infrastructure and facilitate data availability whilst prioritising the interests of stakeholders and Māori peoples. Attendees will gain strategies to enhance data interoperability and quality, and ensure information security.

  • Optimise your data security and preventing data leakage and corruption
  • Protect Māori data sovereignty interests in the transition to an open data government
  • Implement quality management practices to enhance interoperability and inform decision making
  • Support advanced analytics and machine learning capabilities through strategic infrastructure
