What can NZHIT offer your and your organisation?
You will join a strong network of members and key stakeholders that acts as a collective to provide the voice for the health technology industry sector through leadership, collaboration and delivering value. You will be represented across a number of related sector activities and have the opportunity to be directly involved as well.
For example, these include the engagement processes with MOH to develop the digitial health strategy and related standards covering the likes of interoperability, connected health and digital identity. You can also be involved in specific special interest groups that represent key areas of the health sector such as the "virtual health industry group" and others (see Interest Group section).
This is all part of our broader strategic leadership position that ensures you are part of an influential network that is a trusted and relevant partner when it comes to enabling the delivery of quality health and social care services. In addition, you will be provided with a range of member benefits such as -
Tailored member plan - we undertake a strategic member session with you to make sure we understand "what makes you and your organisation tick" so that we can tailor defined benefits that will deliver value for your membership of NZHIT.
Core member benefits - these include a range of services including multiple event and workshop choices (free or at a discount to members), information flows (newsletters, updates, news bulletins on the website, etc), introductory services, consultancy and opportunities to engage with a wide range of sector participants.
Website and social media - this is designed to provide a platform to showcase members, their news stories and to make it simple for anyone looking to partner with you.

What services can NZHIT provide your organisation?

Sector Engagement and Advocacy - as the industry representative body we develop and provide many opportunities for members to engage with the health sector both collectively and indivdually. Our relationshi with the Tech Alliance enables much greater strength across the whole NZ tech sector and we're able to draw on this for the benefit of our members.
Events - with more than 20 events organised and run annually we offer many opportunities for networking, education and sector engagement. Events range from NZHIT member only or where we have partnered with other organisations to widen the spread and depth of an event's value to attendees and the sector. In most cases, NZHIT members enjoy either free or discounted registration options to NZHIT events and, where we have an alliance partner arrangement in place for members to register at a free or discounted rate.
Special Events - we will also organise and run a specific event for a member such as a breakfast or lunch meet-up.
Tailored Member Plans - we sit down with you to understand what's most important for you to and identify key areas to focus on so you gain full value from your membership.
Partnerships and Collaboration - we have a range of special alliance partner arrangements (see the Partners page) that provide numerous benefits to members and our collaborative approach creates many opportunities to engage across New Zealand's health sector and the wider technology sector.
Consultancy and Advice - we provide a wide range of advice and consultancy type services to members throughout the year. Most times this is covered in your membership fee plus we can provide specific consultancy services at an agreed rate, depending on what you require.
Project Management - we have a number of independent project managers in our network that we can tap into when you need to scale up for a specific project.
The schedule is based on category levels that relate to revenue derived from New Zealand's health and disabilities sector, ACC and the private healthcare market. Please don't hesitate to make contact if you have any queries relating to these categories and the fee schedule.
