Our practice was founded over four years ago to improve the way medical care is delivered to residents of Kiwi nursing homes. Often a heavy workload makes it challenging for a traditional general practice to provide timely and reliable care for high-needs, elderly patients. This places huge stress on care home staff, who have their residents to care for as well as strict audit requirements and regulatory standards to meet.
Unlike your local GP clinic, Third Age Health is focused specifically on its patients in nursing homes. Our medical team has a huge amount of collective experience dealing with health issues specific to the elderly, and our support team understand what our client care home staff need from their house doctor - and help them to get it.
